In some cases, such as multi-family dwellings, Code regulations may require you to soundproof your walls for the comfort of your neighbours or tenants. To meet these requirements, you will need an enhanced form of insulation – such as Roxul or Sonopan – in your walls, ceilings or floor that not only helps maintain temperature, but dampens the transfer of sound.
